JACK IN THE BOX
Jack in the Box ads from the 90s are the reason I work in advertising. In 2002 I made a papier-mâché Jack Box head for a Halloween costume. I was a fan. Then, somehow, I got a job at Secret Weapon and wrote Jack in the Box ads for three years. That’s three years of dumb jokes, giant heads, and hanging out with a muppet - hashtag blessed.
"Texting," (above) made it to the front page of Buzzfeed - 9 Questions I have about this creepy Jack in the Box Ad - where it was giffed. Which is almost as good as winning a Cannes Lion. But what really matters is what the facebook commenters said.
